Stillness is a Move, the first publication in a new series exploring visual culture and creative practice. This edition introduces Stillness Mode, a developing framework that reflects on how images behave within contemporary conditions shaped by speed and constant motion.

Conceived as a visual and theoretical enquiry, the publication unfolds through fragments, research, and open questions rather than fixed conclusions. It invites readers, makers, thinkers, and organisers to test stillness, slowness, and other visual conditions within their own fields and to share what emerges.
