For Kim Gehrig’s Womankind campaign film for Berlei, we embarked on an in-depth exploration of the visual and cultural landscape surrounding breasts and bras. Kim's approach—"I want to know everything there is to know about bras and boobs"—set the tone for an immersive research process. We developed comprehensive visual and cultural research documents, uncovering the historical, social, and aesthetic aspects of bras, body image, and the representation of women’s bodies. This research informed Kim and her team’s creative direction, providing a rich foundation of insights that shaped the narrative and visual storytelling of the campaign. The resulting film powerfully addressed themes of comfort, empowerment, and the evolving relationship women have with their bodies, all while resonating with Berlei's brand ethos.
